     What is NDA

The NDA ­(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for conducting a national level examination for conscription of candidates in Army, Navy and Air Force. This is a two-level examination, in which the candidates who pass the written examination will also have to complete the SSB interview round.

     NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be NDA exam before implementing NDA Eligibility Criteria.Those candidates join the NDA [National Defence Academy], They apply the NDA exam Conducted via UPSC [Union Public Service Commission]. The ability determines the NDA Exam twice in one year in the month of April and September All the leaders have been recommended to NDA Exam the eligibility mentioned in this article. Shiksha Board provides some important details about NDA exam eligible Criteria.

  • The candidate appearing in the NDA examination should be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan refugee came to India before January 01, 1963, in which the mentality of India becoming a permanent resident was also included.
  • Person of Indian Origin who came from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African Countries, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Zaire, Malawi, Vietnam and Ethiopia with the intent to stay eternally in India are also eligible to concern NDA exam.
  • Candidates of India and Gorkha subjects of Nepal are mandatory to have official document of eligibility NDA exam issue via Government of India.
Age Limit
  • Candidates from the age 02 July 2001 to 1 July 2004 are eligible for NDA exam. If born before 2 July 2001 and after 1 July 2004, then they are not eligible for the NDA examination.
  •  An equivalent certificate was considered by the DOB or Commission referred to in the available Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate.
  • Only unmarried male claimant eligible for NDA exam but Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.
  • Any candidate selected after passing the examination will have to promise not to get married for a period of training. Failure to stick on to this situation will result in destruction of NDA candidate. In addition, any fees imposed by the Government on it must be repaid.

The minimum qualification essential for Air force, Navy and Indian Army is as follows:
Eligibility for Air Force & Indian Navy
Eligibility for Air Force and Indian Navy Candidates should pass their 12th / exhibition from any certified board or academy among mathematics and physics as a required subject.
 Eligibility for Indian Army
Candidates applying for Indian Army must have completed Class XII examination or its equivalent examination from any certified board.
Those Candidates present time in class 12th [10+2] can also eligible for NDA exam.

     NDA Exam Syllabus 2019

NDA Exam Syllabus for General Ability
English: The English section of the entrance examination is designed in a way to judge basic grammar and vocabulary.
It judges the ability of a candidate to make correct sentences and use words.
The syllabus of English paper ranges from the use of mental faculties of various aspects such as grammar, vocabulary, understanding and memorizing and keeping words in their proper places.
General Knowledge: This section is a subject of physics, chemistry, general science, geography, current events, history, freedom movement, etc.

     How to Apply NDA Exam Application Form 2019

Candidates can do online NDA Exam Application Form 2019 till 4 February sunset 4 PM for NDA-1 on upsconline.nic.in. The NDA Exam application form can be filled in two types: Part I and Part II, The application process started from 9th January 2019.
The application fee is Rs. 100 for the general category and OBC category whereas Scheduled Tribes [ST], Scheduled Castes [SC] candidates have been exempted from the fee payment. Payment of application fee can be done mutually online through debit card, credit card or net banking and offline.

     NDA Exam admit card Download 2019

Eligible candidates issued admit card before the examination of three weeks. The admit card available online on official website of UPSC (upsconline.nic.in) for being download admit card by candidates. Admit card (Hall tickets) will never be send all the way through post office.
