The full form of IIM is Indian Institute of Management.  At present, there are a total of 20 IIMS in India and the first IIM in India, built on 13 November 1961 under the name India Management, is its main campus, which is attended by a student who dreams of studying. What is Full Form of IIM?

The full form of IIM is Indian Institute of Management. It is one of the reputed institute of India and it is definitely proud to be a part of Indian Institute of Management. There are many IIM in various states and every college has around 2400 seats which a student has to pass CAT exam to get.

How to get admission in IIM college?


To get admission in IIM you have to qualify the cat entrance exam. This exam is conducted only once every year in two slots, in November-December, you have to register online for the exam. In this examination, more than 2 lakh candidates apply for this examination every year.

If you are interested in pursuing MBA course and if you want to do MBA from IIM College then you must first qualify the cat exam for this. For which many online coaching and cat mock tests are also available where you also get cat material. 

Every year the cat exam is in the month of November or December, for this, you have to apply for the cat exam which has to fill the form for a fee of around Rs. 1516.

WHAT IS CAT?

The full form of CAT is common aptitude test. It is a computer-based examination. This examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, ie IIM. Through CAT, students study business administration programs and make a career in this field.



Eligibility Criteria for CAT Exam

  • There is no maximum age limit for CAT exam.
  • Students who have a score of 50% or more in graduation, they can apply for this entrance exam.
  • In this exam, 100 questions are asked and 4 marks are prescribed for each question.
  • Total of 3 hours will be given for the CAT examination.
  • All questions are asked in MCQ pattern.
  • You only answer the question that you have full knowledge of because one of your numbers will be deducted if you answer 4 questions incorrectly.

Questions are asked in CAT exam in three parts:
  1. Quantitative aptitude- 28 marks
  2. Barbaric and reading comprehension- 44 marks
  3. Data interpretation and logical reasoning- 28 marks

Whenever you study, keep these three parts in mind, if you want to bring good marks in the cat exam and the special saying says that if you will study well for 6 months, planning does not mean that every day you study only.
